Ethernet, 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, copper, optical, VoIP, TDM, T1, E1,
DS3, STM, OC-1, OC-3, all indoor, all outdoor, indoor-outdoor split-mount, non-protected,
monitored-hot standby N+1 or higher protection, space diversity, parabolic antennas,
sector antennas, flat panel antennas, network management and ancillary equipment.
License-exempt solutions offer lower total cost and no licensing fees, and they
are quick and easy to deploy. These solutions, operating in the Industrial-Scientific-Medical
(ISM), Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure (U-NII) bands offer built-in
interference mitigation mechanisms such as intelligent dynamic frequency selection
(iDFS), automatic modulation selection, Orthogonal Frequency Domain Modulation (OFDM),
multiple-in-multiple-out (MIMO) technology, and automatic transmit power control
(ATPC) which make it possible to implement solid connectivity in partially or fully-blocked
paths or engineer a path for higher reliability using smaller antennas. Such paths
will always require careful engineering. The Star Microwave
